As a parent I feel that our new principal has been a positive influence on the students at S.W.E. In my personal opinion he has turned things around and is very involved with the students. 'His door is always open'. As for the teachers, the thing to realize and think about is, if they push too hard, we get angry. If they don't push enough 'we get angry'. So where do we draw the line?? Where is the happy medium? We are a family oriented school. My children have had strong, supportive and caring teachers. For this I am thankful. When they didn't feel my child was working up to potential they addressed it. For that I'm thankful. Most would have shrugged & walked on. Not all are perfect I will agree. But I do believe the good out weigh the bad.

I have 3 children who attended this school since Kdg. I have to say that I have been very unhappy with some of teacher's and most of the administration. When your children are doing well, everything is fine. But if there is the least bit of conflict or trouble with a student, that student is shuffled through the system and set aside. I have pulled my 2 youngest children out of this school because of continuous problems and conflict with grouchy teachers, vindictive bus drivers, and poor administration. I think my children will be better served with an e-school education at home, and that is what I am doing in the 2005-2006 school year. My 2 Children will get the personal attention they need and a curriculum geared toward their specific needs.
