Perry High School is a very great school in North East Ohio. The teachers are very caring and are willing to spend their own time to help out students who request help in their classes. There are a wide variety of classes offered allowing students to achieve highly. Currently the school gives out outstanding opportunities for their students to go to Lakeland Community College and Auburn Career Center without a cost. Books are free and most, if not all, sports are free. There is a Community Fitness Center that is built into the high school that allows their students to exercise after school without a cost, and to achieve highly in their sports. The coaches are fantanstic and there is a trainer available for injuries and/or questions. The school's class is on an average of 160 students and the class size is low. It is an outstanding school with high technology.

It's a good school with great facilities and a strong emphasis on education. However, the school board places no value on sports, which I think is an important part of education.

This is a great school district. The teachers care about the students and the class sizes are really small, and my kids are doing much better than they did at their old schools. The teachers are willing to work with the students and are not to busy with their own lives to do their jobs. This is one of the best districts we have been in, and we've been to many.

The administration is power hungry. This indeed could be a great school but the administration's power struggle prevents progress and creates apathy among the students. No one here cares about learning. What is important is maintaining status quo. Don't rock the boat. Blend in. I rated safety and discipline as a 5 because the adminstration is overbearing and enjoys exerting power, not because the school is truly concerned about safety. I am currently attending Case Western Reserve University, and have come to find that I have no study habits as a result of my high school career. After freshman year, I did no homework despite my being in many AP courses. I graduated with a 4.3 gpa with little or no effort.
