I'm the class of 2013 some people say its a great school which it is but i've been harrsaed most of my time there by the students but after we got Mr. Dilbone became principle he took my complaint as a top priority
this is the best school you could go to it really is a great school :-) its very small and has GREAT teachers and students also the comunity is great too . we do not have football but we have great test scores.
Newton is a very small school, k-12 in one building. Graduating classes are tiny. Most schools have a single classroom the size of this schools entire grad. class. Teachers are caring and honest. This is a community where everyone knows everyone and we all work together. If you're into sports, especially. football, this is not the school for you as it has no football team. It does have great values and good test scores.
I have had 6 children attend Newton High school. It has been a wonderful experience for them. They had personal relationships with many of the faculity. They had many friends at school. They have scored well on their ACT tests; and have all been able to attend college on scholarships.
