Couldn't be happier with this school. I have 2 children who attend and all the teachers they've had so far have been great. My children are learning fast and the teachers to a great job of keeping the children interested and excited about learning. The teachers and Principals are willing to discuss anything and have an open door policy. I feel blessed to have my children attend this school!
We have been very pleased with Pleasantville Elementary. My child is a first grader there, and the two teachers we have had so far have been fantastic! Class sizes on the smaller size, teachers are helpful and take the extra step if needed, principal is VERY good with both the students and parents. School is in dire need of repair, but will no longer be an issue as the new school will be open for the 2009-10 school year. Overall a well-balanced, rural, elementary school with awesome teachers and learning students.
Little diversity, this is a rural 'farm' school. School is outdated (new one to open in 2010); however teachers are caring and thorough and class sizes are small. We have yet to have a 'bad' teacher, they are all great and take the time tomake sure the children understand the lessons and offer extra help if need.
