There is only one nurse for four schools in the area. If a child were hurt it might be a good while if a nurse could see them, it at all. Also I've heard there are shoving games going on outside at recess. ????? And at the lockers in the evening there is bullying where some kids take others books and hide them. This to me is bullying and what I don't understand is why there is no supervision when these things are going on. I pick up my child and I see the same kids walking fast by doors many times seemingly just looking for trouble. There needs to be much more supervision with these "games". the kids play. Someone needs to stand up for what's right and put a stop to it.

Great school where students are pushed to excel inacademics and athletics. The teachers really care about each student as an individual and as a group.

This school offers a good educational foundation for the students, but it really lacks in taking care of the students on a social level. There are a lot of bullying problems at the school and the teachers and administration are unwilling to face it. Regarding sports, if students are not in the click, they will not get to play. I am not prejudiced regarding these issues, my kids went to 3 other school districts in 2 other states before attending there and never faced these issues before Fairland Middle School.
