I cannot be more excited that we are out of this school and this district. I felt the academics at this school were extremely substandard. The offerings are limited in languages, art, AP classes, and Honors courses are not weighted to reflect the extra work required of the students. The district is run by Ravenna Old Guard and is very clicky in general from the AD to the Assistant Superintendent to the Principal. Compared to the three other districts in the three states we have lived in, this is a provincial backward and self important district without the merit to back up the attitude. The Administration is in my opinion very poor, from the retired to rehired superintendent to the ex superintendents daughter who is the most recent of 3 principals in four years to grace the High school with her less than sunny demeanor. My child was not happy.
