Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School on Vine Street in Reading, Ohio was closed by the Archdiocese in 2007. A group of dedicated Founders, worked diligently and faithfully to open a new independent, Catholic elementary Academy less than 1 mile away on a new campus at 231 Clark Road, Reading, Ohio. Sts. Peter and Paul Academy is recognized by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, has excellent fully licensed teachers and outstanding academic programs. Currently Sts. Peter and Paul Academy is partnering with Greenacres and with Northwestern University's NUMATs program for gifted and top rated students. These programs will challenge the students and teach them outside of the normal classroom setting. We have a dedicated Science lab, computer lab and each classroom at Sts. Peter and Paul Academy has SMART boards. Art, Music and PE are still part of the curriculum at SPPA. Extra curriculars include Dance Team, stockmarket club, newspaper and yearbook. Small class size, low tuition, lots of parent involvement and a stable financial future make this an excellent choice for Catholic education in Cincinnati.

This is a school that want to run far far away. Between the rude administration, uncertified staff, and failing students it is a trainwreck!!!!

I think this school is horrible! The students are just thrown into a mix of leaving administration. Even with small class size, the students are not learning. I am stressed that my kindergartener can't even read! People are rude and snobbish!

This is a wonderful small Catholic in Reading, Ohio. Parents are very active in volunteering at school. I have children in K, 1st, and 3rd grade. The children have a number of different 'specials' throughout the week. Example: Mon - Art and Music, Tues - Gym, Wed - Computer and Music, Thurs - Gym, Fri - Church and Library. Myself, my mother and my grandfather are all alumni of the school. I am in my last year of medical school and will get my MD in May. I felt that I got a top notch education and now my children are receiving the same.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
