The academics are superior. Their grading scale is higher than the public schools. 93% for an A and failing is 69% and below as opposed to the public system of 90% and 60% respectively. Our B students score higher on ACTs than the public school straight A students. This is a true picture of the high standards maintained and taught by qualified teachers at Sandusky Central Catholic School. In todays economy the strong work ethic Sandusky Central Catholic instills in the students will served my child well in preparing for a competitive workforce. If you want your child to develop moral dicipline, strong work ethic, academic and athletic achievement in a safe and caring environment SCCS is it! All classrooms utilize the most updated technology through the many labs as well as a Smart Board in every class. Teachers are trained and competent in using technology in their instruction.

Horribly underfunded, great need to keep up with technology and textbooks. General focus on superficial athletics not academics where it needs to be. Excellent teaching staff. New superintendent will hopefully turn school around to support teaching staff and boost academics in general.

Has an excellent teaching staff, very competitive athletics, quality students and committed parents. Much better than Perkins or Sandusky High Schools. Both of my sons got a great start there, and college credits while they were in high school.

SCCS provides a wonderful environment for children to grow and learn. SCCS offers not only excellent academics, but also a very comfortable, safe, value rich environment along with numerous extracurricular activities.

Used to be a wonderful school, but has continually gone downhill. Ridiculous rules in this school year, have caused teachers and staff to worry more about a student going to the bathroom or taking a drink of water, rather than teaching the students good academics. To put it simply, St Mary's could be a very good high school, but certain staff and certain students prevent this.
