This is one of the most terrible places you can send a child that requires special treatment...the students get a 1/2 hour lunch break, and the teachers get an hour....so it was too hard for them to figure out a way to keep my child indoors during recess....simply because they were not going to be able to sacrifice a 1/2 hour of thier lunch period for my sons health...my son has cold weather asthma, I had 3 doctor's notes faxed to them and each time they gave me another reason why that note was not to thier standards. My son went to a different school for k-1 and we didn't have any problems keeping him inside for recess when it was lower than 60 degrees...but for some reason this school did?? Is your lunch hour more important to you than my sons health, and if it is why are you a teacher, a principal or a school nurse?? Why did you choose a proffession that demands responsibility for children? I am simply discusted with this school, I think it's discaceful that they have a four star rating....and I have no doubts as to what my child potential is, however I have serious doubts about this schools potential!!

This is also my sons first time in the Sheffield Schools and I am pleased. The teachers are very helpful with everything. Things that most teachers would not make their business my son's does and that is great. I love being connected to the internet to see everthing the kids do. I also love the before and after school as well. How nice to offer that right at the school. So far you guys at Tennyson are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

This is my son's first year in the Sheffield school system, so far I'm very impressed, the class sizes are good, the staff seemed very caring, the school was clean and organized.I love the daily planners that are sent home every day; It helps me keep track on what needs to get done, and keeps me informed of issues that need addressing.
