Chalker/ Southington School is a very tight knit School where the teachers go above and beyond to help their kids excell in their classes. If I have a question or concern, I am always treated with respect and someone always tries to do there best to answer my questions. School spirit is a top priority as well as community service.. They are small but very mighty!

It is a small, close knit school. They have an excellant curriculum. No overcrowding in classrooms. A friendly small town that works together.

This district and community have stood the test of time. Politics and ignorance aside it will continue to do so. Leadership is always questioned regardless of the organization. The students have always come first and foremost in the direction of administrators. These students continue to demonstrate academic and civic excellence as well as athletic prowess. I believe they are doing something very right. If permitted to do so an even stronger crop of students will emerge. A new facility would push this school up to the cream of Ohio highschools and allow students for flourish. Where's the money Governor? Southington schools get bumped down the list yet is one of the few still operating in the black even after funding cutbacks. Get with the program Columbus.

This school system is in total ruin by the school board and superintendents total lack of leadership and moral purpose. They have entangled the school system in a labor dispute that has lasted 6 months so far and refuse to negotiate. They have not been able to negotiate an contract with 12 members of OSPSE and have all but destroyed the peace of the community.
