I love Strasburg. There is so much pride and tradition. I don't know if I can ever feel the same way about any other school as I grow up and move away. We are growing and learning together. Only the people who have lived here their whole lives or have been here early on can fully understand. Not everybody can fit in at Strasburg. I will be so sad to leave this year. Leave my best friends, my classmates, my team mates, teachers, coaches and family but it must be done. Good luck to new students and the ones I'm forced to leave behind.

Strasburg is a great school overall, I'm very glad to see they are expanding and improving their facilities. They lack some commitment in the guidance councelling and career/life planning department. Hopefully this is one area that will benefit from the expansion. The band could also use some better leadership, someone who is committed to the kids and will actually teach them to read music and the power it has. Academics are strong, extras are lacking. We're sending our children to Dover so that they have more opportunities and available options.

We have a new principle in the elementary school Mrs. Bennett she is outstanding for the building of character of her students she has initiated a bug club (bringing up grades) to build the self esteem of our kids that aren't quite where the others are. She sends out post cards to all of her students that are making improvements so that they are encouraged to excell, the kids love it! The majority of the teachers are extremely devoted to the children in the school no matter the 'family' they come from. I am a single mother of three working on an education myself (many post secondary students from Strasburg at Kent State where I attend) and the community has rallied around my family and encouraged us as well. Strasburg the town, the school and the residents are truly comitted to the education of their children. We love it here!

This is one of the best schools around with a community that is growing with great housing. The teachers are committed to students. Athletics are very strong. Small school, but it ranks very high on the state report card. Excellent principal with lots of experience.
