I have been a LCR employee for five years. I am very thankful to be part of this team. I have worked for several different day cares and I have never felt appreciated. When I started LCR it was nice to see that the owner of the company was so involved. I have met her whole family and it makes me feel good that she respects her employees and knows them by name. You don t find this very often. Le Chaperon Rouge is a great atmosphere for children. They learn so much here and it truly shows when they go into elementary school. I have a daughter who started at the age of 3 and she learned so much. She is currently in grade school and she is in the highest level of reading. I know as a parent that I have taught my daughter many things but LCR has taught her so much more than I ever of could. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to have my daughter attend Le Chaperon Rouge. I respect Mrs. Moga for the company she built. She had a dream to make the day care field better for the children and she did it! She is a hard worker and she is also there for her families if they ever need her! She has a great heart and she is a great person to work for!
I have been an employee here at Le Chaperon Rouge for over a year and have been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Our directors and owner treats each employee as a great asset to the facility. They appreciate each individual and their abilities as a teacher.I have been given first hand recognition when my job is done as described in the Le Chaperon Rouge Job Description Handbook. I have had upper management and the owner, Mrs. Moga, walk through my classroom and compliment me. Mrs. Moga has rewarded me with raises. We work together as a family, and we are all good friends. I am very proud to be an employee at Le Chaperon Rouge. Mrs. Moga has accomplished a lot in her life and she provides good care for the children here at Le Chaperon Rouge.
teachers do not get raises, we are over worked and under appriciated! the medical coverage is a joke and barely covers any expenses!! upper management is disrespectful is very disrespectful to all the teachers! all the owner cares about is money and moving into her new big mansion!!! she could care less about her teachers that have to struggle pay check to pay check!!!
I feel that this school has a wonderful environment for learning. The children are very motivated, happy learners. The teachers here are very dedicated to the children and creating a positive atmosphere for the children to learn in. Our children are doing so well thanks to their comprehensive programs and I've referred a few friends to Le Chaperon Rouge.
My wife and I both work so it was very important that we find a day care center that we could completely trust. When a friend recommended Le Chaperon Rouge, we decided to do some more research and go to the school and speak with the staff members. We were very impressed with their programs and decided to go with them. After a year now that our daughter has been coming here, she has grown significantly in many ways and we're very happy that our daughter is well taken care of.
First off I want to say that my wife and I are not "easy customers." We expect a great deal from the professionals we entrust with our children (as should all parents). More than once we have encountered classrooms where the teacher appears to have little control and uses a great deal of yelling. I want to reiterate that I have never heard Miss Katelyn raise her voice. She always has control of the classroom. The children seem engaged, happy, and organized. She has a strong gift for child care and education that is not easy to find.
I wanted to write a review that expresses my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for my son's pre-Kindergarten 2 teacher Miss Katelyn. My son first met her in August 2011. Although he is a kind and intelligent child, he can be somewhat cautious about new social situations. She has been able to create a classroom environment perfect for him. A place for him to open up socially and interact with the kids. For that, I am forever grateful to Miss Katelyn and Le Chaperon Rouge.
My family is very happy with the day care program here at Le Chaperon Rouge especially my children. I can just tell by their expressions when I drop them off and pick them up. They have never expressed any negative emotion towards school or learning. They always seem excited about their day and it's all because of the wonderful teachers here.
Our children consistently test well in standardized testing and it's all thanks to the well-planned curriculum at Le Chaperon Rouge. They possess what I feel is a genuine love of teaching. I really enjoy seeing my children learn so much so soon because I feel that it enriches their lives.
My kindergartner is practicing her reading skills at home and in class by reading to her classmates from sight wordbooks, phonics readers, and "Bright and Early" readers books. It's so fulfilling and wonderful to know how well my child is progressing and what she's learning at Le Chaperon.
Not only does Le Chaperon Rouge provide excellent care, but they also provide my children with great education. I feel both my children are learning and growing every day. My children will definitely be ready for elementary school because of the structured curriculum. My son will be attending Kindergarten in the fall at Le Chaperon Rouge.
In the years that I've been involved in teaching in both public schools and private schools, I was always very happy teaching at Le Chaperon Rouge even though I could've been earning perhaps double the salary in a public school situation. It is very rewarding to work with the children in our school. They have a genuine love of learning and parents who are very supportive of their educational efforts.
I am very happy with this school. My daughter has been there for two years now and she loves it and she is thriving in all areas of academia. They serve healthy food and snacks and they have a well balanced curriculum and daily schedule.
I feel that this school has a wonderful environment for learning. The children are very motivated, happy learners. The staff is dedicated to creating the most positive learning atmosphere possible.
I'm very happy to know that when I drop my daughter off, she is getting an outstanding education at Le Chaperon Rouge. It's a reassuring and great to know!
I have worked at LCR since 2007 in the Independence location. Our directors are very professional, organized, and get a lot of things done. The classroom size is small, so I am able to do a lot of one on one activities. I am able to meet with parents on a daily basis because I see the parents everyday when they come in. If there are any problems you have the director to go to and the owner is also very accessible. The curriculum is flexible enough for the age groups, but also challenges the children to succeed. The owner, Mrs. Moga, is very personable and she cares a lot about me as a whole person not just as an employee. I feel that she cares a great deal about her employees, the children under her care and their parents, in fact, I have seen her go out of her way to help parents through situations. I have a lot of materials to work with in the classroom to keep the children learning and involved. We also have an opportunity to make a wish list for things that are needed. I enjoy working for Mrs. Moga and Le Chaperon Rouge, It is a nice environment to work in and I feel that my opinion is respected; it is a place where I can have a voice and make a difference.
have worked for LCR for the past 6 years, during this time I was the director of the Independence . In regards to the curriculum, it is created to be used as a guide for the classroom teachers. I have always prided myself in using the curriculum strictly as a guide, it allows teachers to use his/her own creativity and imagination in the classroom. I have found that this allows all of the activities to be open-ended enough for all children in the classroom to benefit and successfully complete. My experience I have found that the hardworking, deserving employees did receive raises. Specifically in my position at this center, those teachers that I found were deserving of a raise would receive one. The owner would also observe the teacher s hard work and immediately give them a raise. With my experience with the owner, she has always treated me well and has always offered her help, if it s ever been needed. Mrs. Moga often gives back to her families. She has offered her support by giving free services to families, and has helped her employees when they have been in need. She has a big heart, understanding nature, and I have always known her to be a very giving person.
I am a parent at Le Chaperon Rouge. My first impression was colorful, exciting and friendly. We visited other centers and this was the most colorful. All the others were dull and grey. I feel the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I think my daughter compared to other kids her age that don't attend here has learned a lot more. Her counting , letter recognition, exposure to different artists, her colors, she speaks French and Spanish. I think the food is healthy, and different every day. Harli's favorite food to eat is the turkey rollups and soup. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. We are very happy here.
Being a parent at Le Chaperon Rouge for the last 10 months I have been very happy with the care my daughter has received. The reason I choose LCR was their attention to nutrition and their weather policy being from San Diego. I was impressed with the indoor play area that my toddler would enjoy. The Director at the Hudson location was easy to talk with when I first visited and since then has addressed every question or concern I have had. I have full confidence that every day my toddler is enjoying a well balanced meal with a variety of options that will expand her palette. The educational aspects at LCR is what will keep us here long term. I have full confidence that as my toddler advances up in the school she will continue to learn age appropriate things. I love discovering at the end of the day what she has learned because she will sing me songs, point out new animals, identify letters and numbers. Each day when I pick up my toddler I appreciate the cleanliness of her room and that she wants to wash her hands before we leave! That shows me that her teachers are not only teaching her about personal hygiene but demonstrating it to her.
I am a grandparent at Le Chaperon Rouge for 3 years, and I have full custody of my 4 year old granddaughter. When I obtained custody, I needed to find reliable day care for her with the extended hours that I needed as a registered nurse. One of my neighbors recommended Le Chaperon Rouge. I came in and met the staff and loved them, the atmosphere and curriculum. The school offers a lot of really great classes like French, dance, and gymnastics. For a full time working grandparent, this worked out really well. They provide healthy meals; breakfast, lunch, and snack. They even made special accommodations for her diet. She is thriving here and really looks forward to coming to school everyday.
