Our three children attend Stryker Local Schools. We are very impressed with the collaboration and communication among staff, faculty, students and the community at large. The school is very small which brings many advantages to the students that can be evidenced by their overall high test scores. Many of the teachers, the principal and the superintendent are Stryker HS grads and have made the decision to give back to the institution that gave them so much. We are also very touched by how quickly newcomers are welcomed into the community! Athletic programs are also excellent here; although money does need to be poured into Track & Field - the track here is gravel! Boy & Girl Basketball are excellent, as well as Volleyball, Cheerleading, Golf, Wrestling, Bowling, Academic Teams, FFA & Baseball! Softball is improving!
I am very happy to say that I attended Stryker School from Kindergarten through 12th grade. It is a very good school, and I am glad my children are attending.
