Overdale Elementary School

I honestly did not like the teaching methods that was used with my daughter. She seems to have take a step back since going to overdale. She wasn't offered any help when it was asked for many times I am very upset by it

I work with the Overdale PTA and am amazed at how the activities chosen all coincide with character growing themes. Be it safety, health, art, etc.. Parent involvement at this school is at its all-time high. Kudos to this PTA for involving everyone in the children's education. When parents get involved in their children's education, not only do the children thrive, but so do the parents, the family, the school, the community, etc... This is a great school!

Fantastic teachers. I have two children at Overdale. They have both made fantastic progress in readin and math. I cannot say enough about Mrs. Law. Both of my kids love going to school every day at Overdale. A+

My daughter attended Overdale for half day kindergarten and through Oct. 31 of her first grade year. We loved the kindergatren teacher, Mrs. Beaumont. Other than that the school and its official's were a complete disapointment. they had no consideration for my child or the other. It felt very much that the administration was catering to the teachers and not the children. They had very little adult supervision most of the day and refused to work with me on moving my chold to another classroom after repeated problem wit the teacher witholding trips to the water fountain as punishment. Very upset becuase I moved here becuase of the schools. We now attend a public charter school called OHDELA and are extremely happy!
