I rate Sheridan very high because what I got from that school was more than just a high school education. I played football and baseball there and made some friends that i will never forget. The teachers really care how their students do and they had to work with what they had because it isn't exactly a rich school. The most important memories that I will carry with me forever are the sports exspecially football because our team was a family away from the family and that all starts with the teacher coaches. It was just amazing to know that the town was empty on friday nights because everyone was at the game weather home or away. I am currently in the military and have been for 5 years and just hearing Sheridan brings back bitter sweet memories. Former Student

Sheridan offers quality education in a new facility. The faculty is caring and the curriculum adjusts to the current rigors set by the state of Ohio.

I attended Sheridan High from 2000-2003 my experience at Sheridan was indeed bittersweet. I had such a hard time there at times that I dedicated myself to graduating high school in only three years. Sheridan doesn't have much in the way of diversity, but the staff never lacked in relating to me. My problems were simply with the students, After graduating I went on to join the military and I learned that Sheridan isn't as bad as I thought it was. We had many classes that most schools throughout the states did not offer and in turn we were much better prepared for tests like ACT and SAT, now my niece is prepared even for the proficiency tests. I believe that the parents were as involved as they wanted to be, but I noticed that a lot of teachers pushed just as hard as if the students were their own.

My son started at Sheridan from out of state this year. The initial registration process was awkward, but the people and the quality of education has been excellent. The teachers and support staff have been helpful in every way and very welcoming. The principal and counselors very kind and attentive and I highly recommend this school for anyone wishing to move into the area. My son made an amazaingly quick adjustment both academically and socially to Sheridan. Facilities are brand new too and the office staff has been so kind to us during a very difficult situation and transition, especially Bev in the office.

In the year 2003, I graduated from sheridan high school. It was a fun school where i learned alot from the teachers. I took alot of easy classes to get me by and some hard ones to help me learn. If I was to rate sheridan high I would have to give it a 9 out of a 10. The reason why I am rating it with a 9 is because of the lack of support the teachers gave me every once in a while I would hear a great job or thanks for staying after class. Another reason is because of the work the did on the school it was hot on alot of days and when it rained it would leak and all the janitors would do is put a trash can under the leak but other than that it was a great school (old high school).
