What a GREAT school! My son just finished his freshman year here and had an outstanding experience. The teachers were great, and the curriculum was just as good, if not better, than that of the "private" schools that many of his friends attend. Unfortunately, there are drugs at EVERY school. I do not believe that Rogers is worse than any other school, nor is there a lack of security. When my daughter is ready for high school in a few years, I will NOT hesitate to send her to Rogers.
What a horrible school! I had one child attend this school for one year. Him and I had enough after a while. He did make some friends though. However, this is not a good school to send your kids to nor is it safe at all. There are drugs sold on campus, fights, and some racist insults. I pulled my kid out of here after one year. If you see the other good reviews about Rogers, still please think twice b4 sending kids here. NO SECURITY!
i dont go here but i hear it is fun and great and alot of people to hang out with,
I see weed being sold all the time. the teachers see it, but dont say anything about it. Some will say 'yes, there is a drug problem here' they can admit it, but do nothing about it. Theres at least 3 fights every week. This schoolis a disgrace, never send your child here. Toledo Public is not the best choice, at all.
Some of the teachers are fair and just. Others don't seem like they care. The new principal has been whipping the teachers AND the students into shape with dictator like qualities, and this school is on track to becoming a top TPS school.
I have two grand children that attend Rogers High and they both get good grades. I believe that the teachers are doing an excellent job.
The kool is cool but the teachers (some of them) just need to work on there people skills, not just give people detentions to students for stupid reasons feel. If that would change I know a lot of students would. I like they say you got to give respect to get it. Students act like that because they know you as a teacher, staff, or anything don't like it.------ (Student)Tierney Olosunde.
I'm a current students at Rogers and personally I find myself very successful in this institution. I know there are other not as lucky but it's not always the teacher's fault the student's failing. The classes are prepared in a good order and education is a high-held priority. All places have their flaws but I've enjoyed my experiecne here. -Holly
Hey I am a student at rogers. I think that rogers is a pretty good school. Most of the teachers are very good. Then there are just a some who are not. They are working to improve though. Well that is all I am going to say for now so bye. I hope that I helped some.
