Winterfield Venture Academy Elementary

Overall this school has potential, "It takes a village to raise a child" i truly believe that , so parent involvement is a must it starts at home. They are big on Parent Involvement and always have an open door policy. If one cant control they child at home, what makes you think they can control them in the school system along with hundreds of other kids they have to carter to. The Good outweighs the Bad here in the school.. there is no "perfect school" all schools have issues with kids but again that starts at home. Every parents need to take on more responsibility and stop pointing the finger at the school and step in and help make a difference. The teachers at Winterfield have always been there to help the students succeed and i know every last teacher has put they heart into teaching the kids only to make a better way for they future. This is NOT a bad school at all........

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!!!!!!! IF you care....... The curriculum my 5 year old was learning was things that he already knew and TPS were more advanced thank that..... The teacher didn't know how to control her own classroom, when I went to volunteer (which is required) I and a couple other parents had to control her classroom for her.... The communication system is nonexistent, the teacher would tell me my child is wonderful and he hasn't had a problem at all and then I would receive a letter either in his bookbag or in the mail telling me what problems he had for that same day.. I would look past this school if you care about your child and his well being....There are more problems than just the ones I have written about and also there are other parents that have felt the same way as myself and I was actually shocked that there wasn't more reviews online about this school... Also my friends pulled their children out because of these same tytpe of problems also...

its great to bad i had to leave because i was getting complaints about earings and shoes but its much better than butty reynolds they're teaching stuff i learned in fourth grade at winterfield in the fifth at reynolds

I was a student at Winterfield Venture Academy, it was a great school and had lots of fun ways to learn and interact everyone. I loved the school as much!

Winterfield is an excellent school and I believe that they are headed in the right direction to become even better. They have an extraordinary Assistant Principal and the teachers have a genuine interest in student achievement.
