Toronto High School has been a source of pride for the city of Toronto for many, many years. We have a close knit community and are proud of town. Sadly, our town is not a big money area and with the slide in the economy I am afraid that Toronto High School will be forced to consolidate, meaning bigger classroom sizes per teacher = less individual attention, if some much needed updates are not performed. Please vote for our school so that we can keep our children's education first!

The truth of matter is that the state of Ohio has a poor plan in place for public schools. Small areas tend to be given a real small budget to where bigger schools get all of the money. Toronto High School lacks in teachers, books, equipment, and diversity in class selection. The school does a poor job of preparing the kids for college. There are kids graduating from that school that can barely read. My 4 years there some teachers barely taught and didnt challenge the students knowledge of the material. Kids coming out of this school will be at a disadvantage when attending an institute of higher learning.

academic programs are minimally basic. availability of music and art, nil. its all about sports, more money spent on athletes, inparticular, football and baseball. athletes treated like gods, given 'special' treatment.
