Why is Bloomfield Elementary School in the same city rated an 8 while Baybeck is rated a 6? There is something wrong with Baybeck when a school with more students and teacher to student ratio is educating their students better. My grandchildren deserve the same quality education as the children in Bloomfield.

My children have gone to this school for two years. While one child has excellent teacher, but she has no control and no clue what is going on in her classroom. I have been completely disappointed with both the 2nd & 3rd grade teachers my other child has. The principal is a very nice guy he just does not belong in an administrative position. I have run out of fingers to tell you how many times in the last 2 years my kids have come home and told me they had a sub because their teachers were in meetings. These people are paid by our tax dollars to teach our kids, yet they are too busy to teach. I can understand why Babeck has lost their excellent rating and Bloomfield is considered such a better school. Babeck could certainly take some lessons from Bloomfield and Seven Mile.

My chidren has went to Babeck for 3 years. We got a new principal this year. I really like him. They are very protective with our children. Which makes me feel good knowing that my children are safe.

Babeck has an extreme sense of community. Students feel safe and comfortable there. I feel confident that my children are receiving an excellent education

While my child had an EXCELLENT individual teacher, I found the school to be rather 'prisoner'-like when it came to visiting. They are TOO protective of the students. As I understand security concerns, the fact that parents aren't able to visit their child's classroom makes me wonder what they are hiding. There is a 'clique'-ish feel to this school and for that reason my child will be transferring come this fall. The principal is part of a community clique and does not address problems in a genuinely professional manner.
