I'm a grad of Claymont High and School. The rating it receives by the state and this site doesn't give it justice. Claymont, unlike Dover and other large schools, has open enrollment and frequently has to take students that have been kicked out of other schools. I graduated from Claymont and received a full ride to college and I placed seventh in my class. It's a great environment to learn in and provides small class sizes.
Claymont is an awesome school. Help can be found around every corner. I especially love how clean and neat all of the facilities are... The pit definently sikes out our competitors when it comes to wrestling!
Claymont has a good Scinece Dept. and an up and coming Math Dept. with efficient and conciencious Math teachers. Great school spirit!!
Claymont has a fabulous science dept. and superb AP courses. Young, energetic principals with great values only add to the atmosphere that is right for teenagers.
