I came into Lake High School Freshman year, and i found it very welcoming. The students are great kids and its one of the only high schools ive heard of where the footall players and cheerleaders are not a large clique and not the most popular kids in school. Lake is on of the schools where anyone can be friends with anyone. Also, your encouraged by your peers along with your teachers to get good grades. Also, the music, art, and drama programs are amazing.
In my eyes, there is no other school I'd rather go to than Lake High School. The music program is amazing. I've been in Band for almost 6 years and I've never felt more welcome/accepted. We have fantastic teachers that are always there for us, weather we're in the classroom or not. Although Lake isn't a big school, work is done and leaders are created.
The music program is out of this world. I have two student in the Lake Schools, and I have been very happy with involvement from teachers and administrators. The school system is not huge and I like that. All the kids know each other.
The music program here is absolutely fantastic. The parental involvement is amazing and the staff is very knowlegeable and professional.
