This school district (Warren local) is the best in the area (both sides of the river (Ohio & WV). What the school lacks in facilities it more than makes up for in the quality of teachers and parental involvement. I have three children in BV now and they have done very well. All of the schools in this district consistantly test well. When I look at what my children are learning versus national standards and expectations, they are always above average. Discipline problems at BV and WHS are minimal. This is a good indication of both the quality of the staff and the involvement and encouragement of the community. If I have one concern, it is the general condition of all the school buildings and the community's struggle to address these issues in a timely manner. However, the educational experience has been top notch!
