Excellent extracurricular support. Academics are a bit low but above average for the surrounding area. Overall great safe place to learn and grow.

This is a great school overall. Community involvement is high and the support of ALL extra curricular activities are definitely among the best in southern Ohio. The academics seem a bit low, but if you are looking and have a highly motivated child and are looking for a school with great athletics or extra curricular support. Waverly could be what you are looking for. I have a son in athletics here and a daughter in cheerleading and the atmosphere is great for both. They have the best band and band director in the area. My only knock would be the cheerleading program does not do competition.
