Our school has small class sizes for individual attention on learning. We have Kindergarten up to 5th Grade with HQT in each classroom. There are several learning field trips each school year for the classes. The students have a nice multileveled playground for them to have a safe place to play. There is also breakfast, hot lunch, and an afternoon snack provided for each child. There is an afterschool and before school care program with homework help available.
My daughter has been learning so many new things from planets, basic math, to her letters. She can recognize what letter it is whether it's lower case or upper case. The things she comes home and tells me are amazing and it's all thanks to the teachers and staff members at Le Chaperon Rouge.
The things that my son comes home and shows us.. feels more comprehensive and he's articulating a lot more of his day to us in the evening. He is happy to go to school in the mornings and the extra events such as hat day and wild west day are so simple but special things for him to look forward to.
The curriculum is heading on a great course for learning and bettering their education. They go to school and come home excited and very happy!
When starting to look into schools for my daughter, we did a lot of research first. Education is very important and that's Le Chaperon Rouge's top priority, which also happens to be ours. That's why we knew immediately to enroll our daughter here.
I used to work here and I would always tell people I meet where I work and how much I loved it there! I loved the feeling I got at the end of the day knowing I have given my love and care to the children.
My wife and I always find ourselves talking about Le Chaperon Rouge because our children are always a topic of conversation amongst our friends. We always have nothing but positive praise for this school and how well the program is conducted. The teachers work tremendously hard to make sure our kids are progressing as they should and still having fun at the same time.
The food they receive is healthy and nutritious and they have tried and developed tastes for foods that have been served at school that they would have never touched at home. And on top of all that, the place is colorful and immaculate! I just want to say that we've been so happy with our daughter's progress and highly recommend Le Chaperon Rouge to parents who are thinking of enrolling their children into a school program.
The education my daughter has received from Le Chaperon Rouge is incredible! The curriculum is right on track for their age group and is presented in ways that spark my daughter's interests and makes her want to learn. She goes to school and comes home excited and happy!
After researching and visiting several other schools in the area, I found Le Chaperon Rouge. The first month my daughters attended school I remember speaking to the teachers with tears in my eyes - tears of joy! From the first day on, the Le Chaperon Rouge teachers have approached me at drop off and pick up times and have made a real effort to develop a relationship with me. They speak with me everyday about my daughters' struggles and successes. I truly appreciate all they've done for my daughter!
The teachers speak with me everyday about my daughter's struggles and successes. They show a genuine love for my daughter and a real excitement regarding her progress. The director of the school is always available, approachable, professional, knowledgeable and extremely organized - the exact qualities that give parents faith that a school is going to be run well.
My kids have loved coming to Le Chaperon Rouge. The teachers are well chosen and genuinely caring. The academics my kids receive makes them so prepared for Kindergarten. Also, the support and encouragement that the teachers give the kids truly helps to build their self-esteem and confidence. I am grateful to the director and teachers.
The teachers take pride in keeping the rooms clean. The curriculum is better here than at other schools.
I love the communication between the director and the parents. The accessibility is wonderful and I'm so happy to know that i can contact the school and actually speak with someone who is knowledgeable and capable of answering my questions.
I was told about this review site from staff members/parents of LCR because the owner is asking for reviews of her center so here is my honest review. The after-school program is fantastic! The staff is wonderful, great communication as well as homework help. They keep your school-ager busy and on track. I've heard from other parents/families about the day care side of this center, and from what I heard is that the director is less than friendly, barely any communication between parents/staff, and the staff members have the same personality as their director so unfortunetly her attitude is rubbing off on the other employees, which results into effecting the children. But if you are looking for after-school care LCR Elementary is the place to go, not sure on their Elementary school because my child goes to a public school, but I'm sure its just as good as their after care program.
I have been a parent at Le Chaperon Rouge Westlake for 7 years. My son made the transition from Day Care To elementary. Since 2005 LCR has been ahead of all schools in what they offer to their students. Music with instruments, Computer Class, French and Spanish, a Multicultural Art Education ei. Geography,Diversity, much needed in our society,P.E with yoga and Martial Arts. All of this twice a week for under a lot less $$$ you would pay in another private school. The principle has an open communication with parents & staff alike. My son's academic achievement are countless. He has constantly rated 2 grades above the national average for his grade for 4 years. I couldn't bee more please. LCR is a home schooling away from home. Individual attention , security on the door and 3 meals are also included. Homework? done by pick up time. It's AMAZING
The le chaperon rouge elementary school is a school that does not fit everyone. It has a potential to be a real good school that offers more than public, but the leadership is lacking there. There are teacher shortages when there is a teacher out due to illness or personal issues. The school does not deliver what it promises. they do offer many after school activities when the people do show up. There is a problem with communications between the school and parents. There is also a problem with communication with the principal and staff. I recommend the daycare program esp the pre-k.
