Kirkmere Elementary School

This will be our 2nd year here. We are going into the 4th grade. When we started here we were coming from a private school. The teaches and staff were wonderful. My child said it was his best year ever. The teachers and the principal were terrific with the children. I think it is the best elementary school in youngstown.

I just want to say that this was the best move for my daughter. she was going to west elem. and she was just having a hard time with the teacher. she was afraid to go to school always complaining about her stomach and her head. turned out she was getting a nervouse condition, then the no child left behind came out so I transferd her to kirkmere, she loves it there. She loves the teacher. And also in Kirkmere not one teacher is a yeller, its a positive atmosphere and I love it.

My two daughters have been going too this school now for two years and we all love it alot . My oldest daughter was going to West Elementry for her Kindergarten year and she did not learn nothing (o.k I can't say nothing) o.k all she learn was all the new releases of cartoons and nap time. So the next year they started going to Kirkmere and let me tell you wow this school was just awesome. My daughter had too get held back but that was o.k becuse this year she is on the honor roll and is doing fantastic. My other daughter is doing just as good. The teachers there are wonderful they work the children. They would even stay after schoool too help the kids if they would need it. Every one if the teachers there are just awesome they all talk to you when you come in they treat you like you are family. That is why we love this school. Hope that you all feel the same way about this school as well as we do.
