It is not true concerning teachers and their degrees. All teachers have BA or bachelors degree and are certified through ACIS in order to teach at a chartered school. So, there must be some misunderstanding concerning this. My children have attended the school for 6 years and I am very happy with the education and morals they have been taught there. Every school has its problems but at least here they are handled in a Christian manner and the child is not beat up for making a mistake. I would highly recommend the school to any parent who is looking for an environment where their child is taught respect and morals and the love of God

Below Poster: Forgive any misunderstanding, but we cannot be talking about the same MCA. Yes, the school has some problems, like any other school does. However, with what little financial backing they have, the staff and students have made it work out well. Things can be improved, but I thank God this school is here and not afraid to he strict when needed or loving when needed. This is coming from a former graduate, who is has taken lessons from MCA and who s currently doing great because of it and God's blessing.

Please attend a board meeting before registering your children. This school currently lacks any Christian Curriculum and has several other issues.

My children have been attending MCA for 6 years. We are thankful for the dedication of the staff and teachers who make it possible for our children to receive a quality education in an environment where God is honored and the Bible is among their textbooks. Class size is small enough so that the students are able to get individual help whenever it is needed. Our children have enjoyed being involved in the sports program and serving the community through school-sponsored activities. It is good to know they are in a safe and godly environment while they are at school, and that the Christian values we teach at home are being reinforced at school.

I've attended this school for several years now. I believe this is a wonderful school. As a student I have had many experiences that I would not of had at any other school. I have been able to take on challenges and responsibilities that have shaped my life in a whole new way.

I have a child attending MCA and I am happy with the family-like environment of the school. I do feel that they are lacking academically however.

MCA is a great school. I am very glad to attend this school because there aren't any cliques or bullies. I believe that any kind of person could survive here unless they are a bully, of course. haha.. the teachers really care about your grades and will bother you until you do your homework. Of course it gets annoying, but i am sure glad they care. Anyone can play on the sports teams, whether they are good or not. The kids here accept eachother for who they are and its just a great enviroment. -Jane M.

This school has become a big disappointment. I was expecting a Christ like school. My child has experienced being cussed at from another child. My child has experienced a teacherless classroom for sometimes more than one period. The school discipline policy looks good on paper only. I learned at the school board meeting that teachers there do not need to have a four year degree and students from time to time fill the spot of a teacher. Please attend a school board meeting if thinking of sending your child there next year.

I could not, in good conscience advise any parent to send their child to this school. Although this school opperates under the guise of being Christian, there are a great many problems at MCA. The rules and regulations under which this school was founded have been ignored for several years. In addition, few students are given accurate grades. No teacher can give a student Ds or Fs reguardless of the fact that that is what the student diserves. I taught at MCA last year and am relieved to be free of the negativity, gossip, disrespect and chaotic environment of this school. Public schools have more order and better behaved students.
