I went to BHS for my junior and senior year and loved it. The school had enough room for all the students. The princeple and teachers were great. I loved BHS and was very ready to attend an in state college where i did very well.

Bartlesville High School does an excellent job of preparing students for post-high school success. The principal is a strong advocate for kids

elementary schools are teaching everyday mathematics. it is a type of math that will need to be supplemented in the secondary class setting. our children will not be prepared for high school mathematics due to the inadequacy of learning in the elementary classroom. the curriculum needs to be restructured if our children are going to excel in higher mathematics. the bartlesville school system is 'dumbing down' our children rather than raising the bar for excellence.

Bartlesville's AP programs are wonderful and the school is far above the state average; however, if this is not enough for you there are many courses offered at Oklahoma Wesleyan and Tri County Tech

I have found the Bartlesville school system to be good for children whose parents teach them at home. The children,of working parents that do not have the education or time to work with their children, do not recieve a good education at Bartlesville schools. The school systems spends far too much money on administration and on buildings, also on teachers with unneeded higher degrees. From past experance I found the teachers at Bartlesville schools elementry threw high school do not want the parents to be involved. We pay very high price for the system. As long as teachers have tenure we will never have good school system.

The teachers need to be more concerned with the students' achievement. Some students are neglected while the advanced students are bored because they are not challenged academically. The music program is the saving grace.

Excellent band, orchestra, choir, forensics programs. Excellent science department. Library is woefully below standards but scheduled to be built soon. Excellent college prep. Vocational education is available across town.

The school's new face lift is wonderful and a great opportunity for students to become aquainted with college style classes. It made going to college a better transition.

Wonderful choral music program. Nice building & grounds. Not lacking in resources. However, principals & other faculty, teachers lacking in interpersonal skills, teaching ability.
