I have been going to Bridge Creek schools all my life. Since I was in kindergarten to my current year as a freshmen. I have to say that this school is more than just my school. Its my second home in a way. Every hour I go to, I look forward to it, and with the new highschool being built this school will just get better and better.

I attended Bridge Creek throughout my whole general education life. I love Bridge Creek. I think that I learned how to be a successful and efficient citizen because I went here... YAY for BCHS!!

I agree that this school has changed greatly in just the four years I have been attending. They have cut many things out of the curriculum. The number of students continues to rise and it seems like the hall is getting smaller along with it.

We have three girls that have attended Bridge Creek since day one. Now, with one a Sophomore, another in 8th grade, and the 3rd child in 6th grade, We couldn't be more satisfied with how the have been taught. The elementary teachers (the foundation) has done their jobs very well. They will go the extra mile to make sure that the children learn what is being taught at that particular time. We are sold out. And are excited to see the finished product as our children adventure into life after High School.

Although there are always a couple of bad apples, the overall staff is really great at Bridge Creek. It's more on the level of a private school. They actually know and learn all about your child, not just their name from 8-3 pm. They sincerely want your child to do their best and to succeed. The academics are great. Since 2004, the athletics have greatly improved and are improving. New sports and sports facilities have been made available to this growing community. Parent involvement is wonderful. There is always room for improvements, but it's progressing every year.

The teachers at BCHS are of very good moral and educational standings and that reflects on the classroom. They let it be known that they are not only there to teach, but also there to provide a good role model for the students and they do that very well. Mr. Denton, Mrs. Werning, and all of the 9th - 12th english teachers made the school an environment where my children wanted to be because while it was still very professional it was also very enjoyable. During the rough times of my childs lives', it was nice to know that when I couldn't be there, my children were still being cared for. Along with the highest of education they showed moral standards and values that other schools may not have had the guts to and for that I am eternally thankful.

Bridge Creek continues to best surrounding districts in ACT scores, at academic meets, etc. Like most schools it tends to put sports ahead of academics. The main knock on the school district is there are few businesses within the district forcing tax revenues to come from the growing number of residential properties. Unfortunately that equates to less funding per student and substandard facilities, as compared to those in surrounding districts.
