Don't even think about it. Substandard defines the curriculum, the teachers, and the facility. The best thing about the school is the staff in the highschool office.

Summit was a great Christian School and safe place for your child to attend. The elementary teachers for the most part are the best in the teaching field. However the Middle and High School lack a lot of everything. All they are interested in is sports and the education and God are not important. This was not the case when I took my son to Summit. I'm very disappointed in the leadership of this school. They are not very friendly and avoid having to communicate with you. Students are allowed in no matter if they have been kicked out of another school or not. This was not the case a few years ago. So if you are wanting to pay for a small school atomsphere this maybe the place for your children. Just know that drugs, bad language and sex are all over it.

Summit provides a wonderful atmosphere for children to learn. The teachers are very caring and are always ready to help out. Parents are kept well informed by the teachers and the administration. This is done by phone calls, weekly newsletters, monthly event calendars, and special notes sent home. Summit offers a wonderful curriculum throughout the grades. The extracurricular activities are fantastic also. Summit offers weekly music, art, library, computer, and P.E. classes starting in kindergarten. This school is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.

Academic Quality: Way better than any public school in this area by far! Extracurricular Activities Availability: For a small private school, they offer a lot of activities for the kids as well as an eligibility requirement that is fairly trough. Parent Involvement: The school tries to involve the parents in all the child's progress as well as phone calls when there is a discipline problem or even if he/she needs an aspirin. Overall the school is a good place to learn while at the same time being able to speak about God freely and the salvation through Jesus Christ! We would recommend this school to anyone interested in getting out of the public school system.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
