Im proud to say that my family is part of Buffalo Schools. Teachers thwre are dedicated to the acedmic success of students. There is also great administrative leadership in place and an abundant amount of teacher/parent communication.

Very positive atmosphere, I like the staff and teachers in this school, I am always made welcome. I enjoy attending sports and music programs at the school and their veteran's day program was outstanding.

I am surprised that there are two reviews keeping this school rating so low. I don't know what school those two people walked into but it's not Buffalo Elementary. This Elementary school is very good. --I will say this is showing up in test scores as well, but greatschools does not update their data often.

Buffalo Elementary is fortunate to have very good Teachers. Sounds to me like somebody down there in the reviews is mad at one of them though. --and probably because the Teacher did their job. There have been a number of very good, positive actions and programs put in place with the arrival of new leadership. There are expectations of the Teachers as well as the Students. There is a tremendous improvement in the actions of students in academic involvement, community involvement, and their interaction with others and Teachers.

Very poor school! Teachers that need to retire won't retire; so that means they are not teaching the students like they should be tought. When a parent trys to teach then the student will get the problem wrong because that was not the way the teacher wanted it. Having a sup/princ is NOT the best thing for the school, I have seen him 3 times and have talked to him BRIEFLY and all 3 times never did he once asked me who I was! All in all this is the worst school I've seen and sad to say I don't think it'll change any time soon!

I think the elementary staff is headed in the right direction this 2010 school year. I look forward to a fresh start with the new sup/principal.

Very poor with students. Can't figure out where they want their teachers from year to year. Never seen Supt &/or Princ. All around poor school!
