Calumet has a wonderful school system. The staff and community are so supportive. They are breaking ground for a separate high school. Every student in the Calumet school system was recently issued an IPAD to assist with school work. The program is working out wonderfully. Best of all, the current school and the additional school have storm shelters.

Calumet schools seem to have plenty of funds to support their students now and in the future. Lots of changes coming. I am glad my kids will get to be apart of it all. This community is prospering, who knows what the future will bring.

I love that my children can go down the halls of this school and see their history. Both of their parents graduated from there as well as their grandparents and their great grandmother. The small class sizes makes it possible for my children to get the extra attention and help if they need it. Everyone in the school and town knows and cares about eachother and its like a huge family all living in the same town. I would never send my kids anywhere else.

I am a parent and very happy with the education my children are receiving. I know that my children are very well cared for mentally, physically, and spiritually at this school. My sons grades have not been the best however, I know HE is learning and being worked with. My daughters health concerns are always actively being put first. I wouldn't have my children in any other school.

I am a former graduate of Calumet. This school had top notch educators to assist each one of us students to achieve our goals. They are caring and want to see you succeed. The administration was excellent always supporting their teachers and students. The school is very nice with heating and air and the outstanding meals that the food service department prepares. I am proud to be a graduate of this school.

This school took my childern when no others had openings. I drive 32 miles to the school and 32 miles back each day. My kids love this school and would go no other place. I have 3 7th graders, 1 4th grader, 1 kg, 1 11th grader. This school is very close to the parents and kids. The staff is wonderful.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in several subjects. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.
