Our children attend Coleman School. I feel that the school does an above average job at helping above average children excell in school, but the special needs of students that are learning disabled as in special ed or that need extra support especially above the 3rd grade is largely ignored. The teachers in the upper grades are good but they lack equipment, technology, and supplies to give the students all that they need and deserve. If the school could get some funding to improve their programs in science and math especially, I think we would see great improvement in this school and happier and more well educated kids.

Coleman used to be a great school, don't know what has happened. The discipline is poor, teacher quality has gone down, and it seem like all they think about is sports. My child no longer attends because of having problems reading and not getting enough help from teacher.

This school does not have the resources to give additional help to children who are having trouble. My youngest son does not read on grade level..however, he passes to the next grade every year. Since I live 20 miles away from any larger town, transferring my kids is out of the question.
