They teach the basics, but with 21 kids in a class, it's hard for the teacher to teach. Kids go to a one-hour music class each week, a one- hour art class each week and to the library for one hour each week. There are no extracurricular activities available at this level. In MS and High School, they do have FFA and baseball for the boys and FHA for the girls. Officials continually complain about lack of funds. Although the school says there is a very high level of parent involvement, actual parent involvement is low to non-existant. If you are considering moving into the Silo School's district and you have school-age children, I advise you to find some where else to move or, at least, check out the schools very closely. Talk with some of the teachers and parents. I am sure you will agree this is not the school for your child!
