I have 3 children in the school that have been there since preschool and are now in high school. All schools have problems,no school is perfect. I trust this Administration to make necessary changes when needed. My kids grades are very good and their achievement test scores are above National Average. Things are consistently changing and the school is always striving for excellence. I feel Parent Participation is crutial and will determine the level of excellence in this school. I feel we have more involvement than in the past. The athletic programs have improved greatly over the years with our High School girls team winning a state title this past year. I love knowing the families of the kids my kids hang out with. For the most part these are very good kids that attend. Most of all having the spiritual aspect in every area has benefitted my children the most.
My daughet attends VLA and since she has been here, her grades have gone way up. I think that school does a bad jobat having the student do work, by the way my daughter talks they never do anything. So if your looking for a school where your child learns nothing but gets good grades this is the place!
We currently have all three of our children attending Victory Life. As far as academics there is nothing better for our children. By allowing our children to be taught thier basic education and at the same time learn of Christ there is nothing better. How could you go wrong! The only thing I would change is the Teacher/Parent involvement. I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of communication at times. The most important thing always in our lives is communication. I have also noticed and have been apart of meetings that seems always have to take place during schools hours. These meetings always need to take place after school hours and not interfere with the parents work schedule. We should count on the teachers being available when it is possible for the parent.
I one child who has been at this school for for 11 years and one who is in his 4th year. Mostly I agree with everything they do. Sometimes I think they carry a few things too far, but them I also what is best for all. I would not take my children anywhere else
