I think this school needs more of a hands on with the students and I believe they do NOT do what they need to do for each child! They have let my son and so many others fail and no one has ever said anything. I am a parent of a fourth grader that is not passed second grade in anything and why because his father and his school have not done what they need to do to help him! They recommend mediacating thier children before teaching their students.
The academics at ELdorado school is absolutely first rate...we have observed kids either transferring in who are way behind or transferring out who say the new school they are in is much easier. Sports are important in this small rural school, however they have struggled to have enough boys in basketball and baseball. This is primarily becaus the students have no drive and/or are very lazy. The elementary group coming up is a different story...watch out state playoffs...these kids want it BAD! I am very impressed with such a small country school and how well the kids are prepared academically as apposed to a large schoo, which is what I went to. ELDORADO HAS A LOT TO OFFER ALL KIDS!
