Having moved here 7 months ago I am very disappointed with Enid Highschool. The teachers are overwhelmed with disruptive students, leaving little room for students who want to learn the opportunity to learn. The detention room is almost always filled to capactiy and the opportunity for teens to get off track is high as there is little supervision at the school. Having visited the school during a typical school day, I found students sitting on top of desks and completly ignoring thier teacher during regular classroom time, in another class 3 students were sent to the principles office within 30 minutes of the start of class, they were disruptive, thowing pencils across the room etc. Needless to say, having a new freshman at this school has been difficult.
I am currently a student at Enid High and am proud to say so. Enid High offers a wide course selection for students to study in and great teachers to teach them. The over all population of the school are pretty high spirited and get along. Enid High offers classes at the vocational center and regional OSSM as well to help students further inhance their future goals.
Enid High school is filled with traditional values and dedication to learning! The principals are all very supportive and most of the teachers work well with students. There are a variety of classes, activities, clubs and sports to fit the needs of every student. There is a place for everyone to comfortably find themselves at Enid High school!
