I am a former student of F.H.S., as is my sibling and one current student. I feel the small town school does have it's charm but this school loacks in many areas comparibly. As a female student your oppritunities are very limited. There are few extracurricular activities for females. After many years of the girls softball teams having to buy their own jerseys they cut the program. There were more girls that tried to sign upthan what the staff ask but still didn't endorse the programThe very next year they re-started the boy baseball program with new jerseys and all. Females only have band, academic team, cheerleading(imagine that), track, and poorly funded band to choose from. They are more concerned with developing a football star than academic scholar.

I have one child that graduated from this school and another one that will soon. It is a wonderful, small school but lacks in many areas. No one is treated better than anyone else based on race, name, social status, money, etc. There really does not seem to be much if any peer presure. However, they just don't prepare the students for higher education. The teachers they have are wonderful, caring people but simply may have become lazy or just don't care.
