I found this school to be pretty good where the teachers are concerned, but, I've noticed if the child isn't a member of a sports activity, in other words, ''in the loop'' right or wrong, that child is 'wrong' if a member of 'the loop' is involved, forget the evidence, they'll supply it. Theresa
As far as teachers go, they are great. The overall school experience, however; leaves a lot to be desired. The students are often intimmadated, bullied, or left to fend for themselves. I , as a parent, have noticed how if a child doesn't have a special talent, that child is over looked and often times gets lost in the system and doesn't get the most out of his or her school career. On a scale from 1-10, ten being the best, I give Heavener Elementary School a 5, and only that high because of the quality of teachers that we have here. Thank you.
