To the person who say's that Kansas only emphasize athletics, you're SO wrong. This school has the worst athletic facilities in their class. If sports was the only emphasis, I would think they'd have the BEST facilities. Teacher and coaches at Kansas do a WONDERFUL job with very little funding. I HIGHLY recommend this school!

This school has some really good teachers. But it's overshadowed by the athletics program. Everything (money, attention, praise) goes to the athletics. The school doesnt even have an art or second language program or a lab science program. They have maybe 4 or 5 tiny clubs. The student population has outgrown the school and education is taking a hit.

The faculty of this school really gets involved with their students. The benefits of having my children in a small community school is wonderful. All of the teachers stay involved with the students and like to parents to beinvolved as well. Many people prefer that their children go to this school rather than other rural schools in the area.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in several subjects. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.
