The teachers, the prinicpal - everyone is interested in the children's best interests at Gilmour. EVER CHILD is important!
My sons began attending Gilmour Elementary in the 2003-2004 school year. At Gilmour, the total student is the priority. Not just the grades or athletic ablilites. The Gilmour students are preened from a very early age to be the best person that they can be. This is supported in their student creed. They teach the students to believe in themselves. To look adversity in the eye and persevere. To hold themselves accountable and responsbile for their thoughts, actions, and their future. The teachers give the students praise and guidance. They spend one on one time with those who need it. They offer challenges to those who strive for it. I am 100% satisfied with the education, the staff, the curriculum, and the administration of Gilmour Elementary.
