This school has maybe one teacher out of each grade level that is teaching well. Considering that there are three teachers per grade, that means that two thirds of the students get behind each year. With poor leadership from principal/leaders, there is no driving force for improvement. My daughters third grade teacher hands out papers and is not to be disturbed while she grades papers for the majority of the day. I am adding home school curriculum to counteract the poor education she is receiving.
This school could really use some help. The parental involvement is just about nil and I can't believe how far behind they are the school where we moved from. Its a group of very nice people, but they are not getting the job done educationally!!! I would consider living in Altus.
