I rate this school the best for Oklahoma City Public Schools. The leadership provided at NW Classen is outstanding; showing concern for the students and making this school one that conveys high expectations for both students and staff members.

I love this school! The diversity helped me understand all types of people and cultures later in life. Someone new to meet every single day! The teachers make learning fun and are laid back not uptight with their own way of teaching.

This school is one of the best schools in OKC in my opinion. It is has the most AP classes in the state for highschools and has the largest ROTC battalion in Oklahoma including colleges. It has been given a bad name by some but for others it is a gold mine. I personally enjoy going there. I am the drama tech theatre sound technician and I have learned more there then when I was trained by a major Audio Production Studio. I want to also add that the new principal is really turning the school around. It has been a wondeful year and I look forward to continue going there. Sincerely, Phillip J. Bueno

Despite the last few years that gave this school a bad name, it has steadily improved. A new principal has been issued to this school who has done some work before to improve past schools and their test scores. There are countless changes afoot now and everyone agrees that the school will soon become one of the best in the state. In my opinion, it already is and we hope to prove it to you. The art program has been known to make many passing scores for the AP portfolios! It's a great place for promising young artists! The art teacher(known as Patrick Shurden)is simply amazing. The JROTC program is the largest of all the schools. Tardiness to classes is not acceptible and neither is ditching classes. There are 300 dollar fines for fighting, so there will be none of that. The drama program has also won countless awards. -Stephanie/Junior

To me the teachers make up what this school is all about. The teachers will go out of their way to help their kids to understand what they need to learn. The JROTC program is one of the better ones in the city.
