Destiny Christian School provides a great learning environment for children from K-3 to Seniors in High School. We now have four children attending Destiny and are so pleased with the education that they are all receiving. The curriculum used at Destiny is great. One of our children has special needs. The teachers and administrators have done so much to ensure that he is able to stay in the school. They have been more than willing to work with us and be flexible to the needs of our child. Destiny Christian School is a wonderful place where students are cared for and where they will/are receiving an excellent education.

Words cannot fully express how highly satisfied I am with the teaching at Destiny Christian School. I applaud the teachers, principals and the staff of this school for investing in my two young boys during the school year. My boys came home everyday talking about the scriptures that they learned and the great experience that they had at school. I would recommend this school to all parents and to give their children the gift of learning about Jesus Christ.

All 3 of my children have attended Destiny Christian since they were 3 years old. I feel that every level of the school has given them a solid foundation and a well rounded education. I am so pleased with the fact that my kids have a positive and Christ centered place to be educated! Let's face it, a large portion of a child's life is spent at school, I needed to feel good about the place they spent the bulk of their day. When I see how much they learn I am amazed and thankful that God brought my family to this school! When I listen to the stories my co-workers tell about their children and the public schools they attend, I am even more thankful for Destiny.

Because my grandkids go to school there.
Although this is a better school than the public schools environment-wise, the education of the middle and upper schools could be much better. Seldom, if ever, does my child have homework. The emphasis doesn't seem to be on encouraging students to learn and be prepared for the ACT/SAT and subsequently college. The teacher turn-over rate is very high and as a result the quality is lacking. The administration as a whole has been a disappointment. Also, there is little recourse for disagreements as the leadership is all related by family.

I am sad to hear how many unpleasant reviews there are. Mid-del Christian, Now Destiny Christian, has been a second home for me for over 13 years. They teach how a Christian should act and grow in the Lord. However, they cannot force anyone to act with a mind of Christ. Over the many years that I had attended there, we had people from all backgrounds. Mid-del is not a prep school. They do not shelter the children from the world. They simply teach Biblical principles. Yes, there were students that had been kicked out of public school in my classes, but they had made so much progress by the end of the year. Mid-del Christian gives everyone a chance to turn thier lives around, and that includes people with unpleasant backgrounds. I was a student, and I graduated from there, and I still stay in touch with Mid-del.

I placed my child in Destiny Christian school because I heard many great reviews from many parents and when I went to interview with the administrator I realized that this seemed to be a reputable school of choice. But I was wrong they crowd too many children into small classrooms and have a difficult time keeping their staff employed there for more than half the school year. For as much money as I spend on tuition you would think that they would provide a stable learning environment for my children. I have found myself spending hundreds of extra dollar for tutors just to make sure my children can keep there grades at an appropriate level. The school needs to invest more time ensuring that the children are provided a suitable education. After all we are paying good money to make sure our children are properly educated.

Destiny Christian School has been an absolute blessing to our family. The quality of eduation we are receiving is phenomenal and well worth the price of tuition. When I drop my children off in the morning I have no doubt they are in a safe and loving environment where learning about Jesus is first priority. I know that in DCS I am working side by side with administrators and teachers to rasie my children to be intelligent and disciplined young adults. My children's education is the envy of friends and family who have chosen the public school route. They are continually amazed at the reading, writing, math and languae levels of my children. I recommend this school to anyone we meet and believe it will continue to be the best decision we have ever made for our family.

Mid-Del Christian, now known as Destiny Christian is an outstanding school in every way. The commitment to spiritual development, academic excellence and athletic opportunities are all outstanding! My family has been part of this school for many years now and we are 100% satisfied!

I am sorry to read the previous review. That has not been my experience at all. I have had two children who attended this school from kindergarten through high school. I have always found the staff and administration to be very helpful and competent. Both of my children have now graduated from college and both of them attended school on full scholarships because of the education they received at Mid-Del Christian School. I would not hesitate to recommend the school.

Putting my child in this school was the worst decision I have ever made. The teacher we were assigned this year returned 90% of the graded work back graded incorrectly. When this matter was brought to the attention of the director he refused to do anything. Homework and class work takes 2nd place to field trips. My child has been marked absent when I dropped him off at school and he isn't old enough to go anywhere or have the notion of ditching. I have been so disappointed in this school it hurts for me to acknowledge I placed my child in such an enviornment. I post this because I wish someone warned me before.

My children attended Mid-Del Christian in preschool and elementary. I was very pleased with the quality of education they received during those years. They learned to speak some words in Spanish and Japanese but that wasn't taught by the whole department. It was one teacher's superb teaching. As they grew older, I was discouraged to find out that the school wasn't as particular as I would have liked them to be in regards to who they allowed to attend the school. We were told that even the children who get arrested for drugs or get kicked out of public schools deserve a chance. While we believe that is true, we didn't want it to be at our own children's expense. My children became exposed to too many secular songs, lingo, and 'ghetto' type behavior and were influenced by the same type of behavior found in public schools.

This school is the best in the OKC area hands down. My children have attended MDC for 3 years now. The teachers are involved, they love the children. My kids learn way beyond their grade level and they enjoy school. There are extracurricular activities for 4 year olds all the way to 18 year olds. Parents are encouraged to be involved in all aspects of school life. The staff and parents work together for the best of each individual child. All children can succeed at MDC due to the outstanding family of teachers, other staff, and parents built on a rock solid foundation of high academics combined with spiritual instruction. Thank you MDC.

My daughter entered MDCS in Kindergarten and we were very impressed with her teacher and the curriculum. My daughter was already reading by the time she graduated K-5. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have a foreign language curriculum although a previous poster said that they taught Spanish and Japanese?? This was not offered in preschool that I know of. Also, I am hoping that the school will incorporate computers into their classrooms. My daughter loves this school and is in her second year there. The before/after care is very convenient and affordable. The teachers are great and the parents are very involved. My daughter does PE 3x's a week and also does music. They offer soccer and t-ball for her age group.

My son was in PreK last year and learned so much. It was such a good experience for him, subsequently this year we enrolled our daughter who is in the 8th grade. The differences were astronomical compared to the education she was receiving from Brinks Jr High. Both our children love Mid Del Christian. We look forward to both of them graduating there in the future. Also whatever activity your children enjoy they will be able to do at MDC. Parent involvement is what you make of it. The teachers do an excellent job of keeping you informed as well.

My daughter will be entering the first grade and my son will be entering K-5 in the fall. This is by far one of the greatest schools in the state. The teachers take such a personal approach with each child. The things my child learned in her first year were astounding. Not just the academic aspect, but the biblical principals as well.

Putting my child into this school was the best decision that I have ever made. The teacher are awesome. My child at the age of 5 could speak spanish and japanese along with writing complete words and able to do beginning reading. The atmosphere at this school is family. All age levels of kids interact with each other. Very structured enviroment. The kids are very disciplined and respectful. I can't say enough about their educational program.
