I am a former student of Prague High School. I absolutely loved it there! I would recommend this school to any parent that wishes for their child attend a very welcoming school. Although everyone has their differences, the teachers and coaches do as much as possible to help the students/athletes succeed. Most of the teachers I had treated me as if I was their own child. They were there to help me achieve my goals and to make sure I understood the material being covered. At PHS there are also many school organization students can join to become more involved with others. Finally, PHS has some of the most oustanding teachers available. I experienced these teachers first hand. The Sr. AP English teacher as well as the AP Calc. teacher is very qualified. They ensure your child know what they need for college.

Prague schools are up and coming mostly due to the sporting activities. The children who are participating in sports not only have the parents overseeing their grades but also the caring coaches.

The school is to into sports and not concerned with other activities. Their main concern is winning a ball game and not focusing on the students who are not in sports, but are excelling in other activities. Not every child is a ball player.

Prague High School provides an excellent learning environment for students who wish to maximize their academic potential. The teachers cooperate with the students, the administration cooperates with the teachers, which in turn motivates the vast majority of students to pursue a course of secondary education. Whether it be a 2 year, 4 year, or vocational institution; children who attend Prague High School will be more than prepared to deal with life beyond their high school years. I highly reccomend this school district to any and all parents who are looking for a school.

'Both my children have gone to Prague since they were 4 years old.Prague is a school where the children come first. Each child is encouraged to do their personal best without being labeled as the smart or dumb kids. The teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child. The principal is kind and knows each child by name. He is a great example of a leader. Thank you Prague for bringing out the best in my children and giving them the encouragement and confidence they need to go out into the world! '

I would strongly caution parents against sending their child to this school!! While their is a spirit of community, that can also be gained through extra-curriculars and other organizations. The staff have very prejudiced views of the students, and only help a select few to succeed every year. I have actually been present when they have told children they are not smart enough or have wasted all their potential already. Parents beware, small school- small minds.

This school has excellent relationships between the teacher and the student. A small community allows plentiful one-on-one contact. The school is newly renovated for the 05'-06' year. The extra-curriculars are large and spirited. At least a quarter of the school shows up for every football, basketball, baseball, etc. game with memorized spirit chants to keep the team going! The band is exceptionally large regarding the size of the town and school. It has around 70 people and is noted for winning sweepstakes nearly every year. The band director is also a member of the Band Directors Hall of Fame. There are many other extra curriculas...art, BPA, FCCLA, AG, Youth Alive, Speech, Acedemic Team, etc. A great, friendly community. A child may learn more from a close relationship with teachers and fellow students, than from a large city school. I rate this school extremely well.
