This school district is narrow-minded and clueless. Only certain students get help with subjects and the others are left to figure things out for themselves. An I.E.P. means nothing here unless you fight the school for the help your child needs, then your child pays for your interference by ridicule from the teachers. It's a sad day when you have to hire an attorney to make the school teach your child!!!!! This is about the grade school. I know nothing about the high school.

Unfortunately athletics seem to be more important than academics. Wish they focused more on learning and less on football.

I transferred my kids here 4yrs ago and they love it. Quinton has so much to offer and the new Superintendent is getting things done that the other one wouldn't.

I absolutely loved Quinton. I went there my freshman year.. The teachers at Quinton treat you like family. It's a small school. Everybody knows everybody. Quinton is great in their academics. Though, sports are everything. And teachers sometimes tend to show favoritism. The counsler, Mrs Reasonor.. Is amazing! I'm going to miss her so much.

Quinton is a wonderful school with great talent in the student body as well as the faculty. The community is also a outstanding supporter of all the programs. They are successful in so many different areas (FFA, Cheerleading, Speech & Debate, Track, Golf, Academics, etc.) and the students and faculty continue to strive for excellence in athletics, academics, and extracurricular activities. Bottom line, it is a wonderful place to live and go to school.

My kids attended Quinton High school before moving to California. The counsler is a wonderful lady who will do anything to help the students. Overall the school dont teach thier children enough about things like math, and reading. They are more into sports. Sports i severything to Quinton High school. Also there are some other parents who will do anything to get thier kids to the top. The school don't do much about that. I am very happy to have my kids out of that school, but do miss the counsler.

About the tests

In 2008-2009 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in several subjects. The results for reading and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.
