Closing of this school was the best thing ever!! Maybe it changed once the HS failed. However grads from this school are far behind the norm of others. So many things we were not taught.. no art no band, no languages. Didn't see a periodic table until I was in college.
So sad that this school is merging with Seminole! My 5 year old has loved his year at this school. The teachers are very dedicated and very skilled. There is a lot of one-on one attention which will likely be lost in bigger Seminole overcrowding-listen up superintendent! The teachers and staff treat my son more like family than just another student and he has gotten consistent perfect report cards all year so I know that they are doing a great job with him. He has grown so much in just one year accademically. Great school! Mrs Simpson and Mrs Sutherland, we'll miss you.
Pleasant Grove was the best school i ever went to the teacher and students were amazing i have to varies other school, never found one like that school. They were more like family than anything else. The teachers did an amazing job. i miss it alot, if i could go back to any point in my life for just a few day it would be those day. Mrs. Hampton, Ms. Richmond Mrs Rohling Mrs. Sutherland and along with all the other saff was outstanding.
