I am a stroud alumni. I found the school system to be like most small public schools, superficially obsessed with sports in the vain hope one student will eventually make it out of thier small town. The fascination with popularity cliches is just as shallow as the teachers, I think the focus should be put toward unity and talents that will actually be useful in future life, such as academics. They also have a wonderful opportunity to build upon the agriculture in thier area but sadly this is also lost in the rat race of sports and teacher's pets

I am a parent who has a student attending this school. Like many other small schools the emphasis is in sports. There is much to be desired when speaking of the quality of teachers and many of the programs including debate and band. It is difficult having come from a school system where the programs were not only of better quality but where teachers had the students interests and growth in mind and not their own.

Stroud Public Shools are awesome. We have a superintendent that is great! The kids have privelages but they have to earn them. (wow, what a concept) The faculty is wonderful and they actually care about our kids.

I am a graduate of SHS and I would just like to say that there is no better school system in the area. During my senior year, I faced many health problems. The entire faculty did their best to help me and make sure that I met my requirements in order to graduate. Without the help of everyone involved in the Stroud school systems, I would not be where I am today. Thank you all!

I think this is a great school. I have two children that attend and a husband that teaches here. I have never had any complaints about it. The administrators and faculty are good to work with you and answer any questions. I would recommend this school to anyone. They offer quite a bit of organizations to join and be involved.

I really dislike this school system. They are very unorganized and unprofessional. I think uniforms, better food, and maybe a few clubs to be in. That it would improve greatly.
