I found the other parent reviews to be interesting. Like any school, Tish has areas that could be improved, but that takes cooperation and effort from many people, including the complaining parents. My kids had a good experience in Tish schools. At the Middle School, the teachers put in a lot of time and effort with the kids and the curriculum and it shows in the school's outstanding scores. In addition to athletics, the school has outstanding teachers and programs in vocal music and band. The teacher-sponsored academic team has done very well in state competitions for the last three years. The school also has an active student council, again sponsored by a teacher, that works hard for the school and the community. Students are also given the opportunity to be involved in 4-H and scouting with support from the administration for those activities. I think it is one great school!

This school is the worst school I have ever seen. The principal and the teachers don,t care about the kids. Most of them stay in detention to long to learn anything. And most of the detention is for piddley things at the cost of being in the class room learning. They talk about bringing up their self esteem. But all they do is bring it way down with most of the kids there.

I think this is a great school with teachers that care very much about the education of the children. They do have a well rounded program of academics, sports and fine arts. I have had two children attend this school and for the size of the community I think it is one of the best in this part of the state.

The kids run wild. Sports rule and academics is not an issue. The few teachers who want to teach the kids something are held back by an administration that doesn't view education as a priority.
