When my husband approached the school on maybe letting a few interested students participate in the Tulsa Engineering Challenge, we were told " no we really don't have students here who have interest in physics or engineering type math, however we do have our own science fair each year." The Tulsa Engineering Challenge is held one day a year at the SW Tulsa Tech campus. Its geared towards students who are interested in math and science and possibly want to pursue engineering in college. We were disappointed that the school did not even take the information we had, just flat out said no . There are some cliques. It is one of those schools that if you don't cheer or play football, you are an outsider, but I feel like my kids are safe attending school everyday. They do focus more time and energy to their football program over education. Your child will get out whatever they put into it, but no extra. There are nice living areas out here. I personally would not move into one of the expensive neighborhoods out here, paying 250k-600k to send my kids to this school. If education is top priority and you have money, move over to mid town and send your child to Cascia Hall.

I am currently attending Berryhill, this is a fine school, they have some of the highest test scores in the state of oklahoma, the education is there IF the student wants it. A good example of this would be my class of 2010, the intelligence of this class ranges from none to students that have earned as high as a 34 on the ACT and have scored the highest score possible on the AP english test. The athletics in this school seems to vary year to year, we were state runner up in football this year. The music program is where the school truley excells, with 17 state championships in marching band, 12 in jazz band, and several sweepstakes awards for concert band (the sweepstakes is the highest award given to bands in Oklahoma) it is easy to see who represents Berryhill's excellence.

Excellent School, hometown environment, my kids love going to school at Berryhill. I have 3 boys and 2 girls and have never had any problems with any of the teachers or staff. Your child is not a number at Berryhill, they are a person!

This is school is above average for a public school but way below what we are able to provide for our kids.

Great School, I purchased my home just so my kids could attend. My oldest graduated a few years ago and with the teachers incouragement over the years he scored nearly a perfect score on his ACT and was able to choose which college he wanted to attend. I love the home town feel of this area and could not imagine living anywhere else. My son never played sports but really enjoyed the academic clubs. So athletic or not this is the best school.

i feel that overall, the teachers are among the worst that the state has to offer..... i also feel that the other school administration is a disappointment. it seems that all available funds go to the football program. seems to be little or no concern for academic extracurriculars. in my opinion if your kids are brain, not brawn, avoid this school district. on that note, if they excel in athletics there are still better choices.

Great school, I graduated in 2007, the teachers really care about the students, I love Berryhill and when I have kids I will take them to Berryhill for sure. If you are looking for a great athletic program, Berryhill is the place for you..we have excellent coaches and players..the basketball team is coached by Keith Cronister, football by Pat Harper, Baseball by Richie Shoeler. In 2004 Berryhill won its 1st football state championship and in 2007 the baseball team won its first state championship. The Berryhill band is also exceptional, they have won countless state championships.

Great school with high academics!Teachers are a great asset to the school. They do a lot of activities with their students. Many parents are trying to get into the school system because of their high test scores.
