I am a student who use to go to central. I think they need some great improvement. Its nothing like the school i do to in kansas. Not mant opintions and the curiculum is not very good. I felt like i did all that they were doing in like the 7th and 8th grade. I feel their really behind an di didnt feel very safe or accepted from many
Needs some new leadership in several areas. Disappointing school choice. Alot of violence and illegal activity.
I graduated in 2007, and won the Great Spirit Award. I felt like the majority of the student body was awful, however, as someone who can focus academically I was able to stay in the AP courses and steer clear from the students that make learning impossible. I wouldn't recommend Central, especially for someone who has a hard time learning anyway. At the same time I did enjoy my time there, and the classes I took. I hope for the best with the school, and the new magnet program. It was already an art magnet when I was going there, but it always felt like money was pretty tight, and we didn't have art supplies. The school was more focused musically than anything else. However, I think the arts program is pretty decent comparatively. I never got AP credit for anything, but reguardless, I felt prepared for college.
Im a student at Central High School and I love it here. The kids here are great to me. Tehy dont judge or harass or anything of that sort. As Long as the respect is there they will accept you as you are. Most teachers are complety awesome but there is always those few who just doesnt care. They say its a Fine Arts School, where I suspect that expression of ones self is applied, but they sort of hold us back on that aspect. Besides that...I love it here!
i am a student at central highschool and i am not pleased with the learning invironment i do not feel safe and i am getting a poor education due to the lack of respect of other students and i really wish this could be controlled

i am a student at Central High School, and i feel that they have a great academic selecton, and the teachers are great. They also have a great selection of extracurricular activities.i would defenitly suggest Central for any parents looking into enrolling their children, and if any parents decide to enrole their childrenat central tell them to look for Brenda Clawson if they need any assistance around the school.the can find me in the NJROTC room, which is one of the classes that i recomend everyone to at least see what its like.
